Please note that these instructions are only pertinent if you have a Gomadic Phone to PDA cable.  If you are using a USB cable for your LG phone and connecting to a laptop, then please disregard these instructions.

LG phones by default are set at USB communication.  In order for the phone to be able to talk with a PDA, we need to set the phone for serial communication instead.  The following instructions will set your phone to serial.  Please note that with LG phones, often when the phone is power off, the phone will automatically revert back to the USB setting again.

Be sure to configure your PDA to also connect at 115200.  If the phone and the PDA are not set at the ** exact ** same port speed, the two devices can not communicate.
