My cable does not have a sync button. How can I sync with my palm based mobile device?

Since Gomadic’s USB cables use TipExchange which enables them to be used with thousands of different mobile devices, it was not possible for us to include a sync button on the cable.


You can, however, still sync your device just fine! To do so, simply go to the application section on your PDA or Smartphone (your cable needs to be connected of course), then tap on the “Hot Sync” application and then tap the hotsync logo in the middle of the screen. This will initiate the hotsync process and your data will sync as normal.
