How is this cable different from the one that came with my device?

| Unlike most USB cables, Gomadic’s will simultaneously sync data and recharge the device at the same time. Special wiring needs to be made on most USB cables to make them the charging type. Usually these modifications are not done with the USB cables that ship with most devices. | |
